i was looking at a 51 ford vic for a long time, but the owner wanted to play games. i was on craigslist and found a 58 apache 36 tow truck for 1800. the ad said it ran, so what the hell. i found the place out in the middle of nowhere and checked it out. i offered 1500 and limped it home.a headgasket and a set of tires and wheels later i drive it about every day. i still have a long way to go, but i'm having fun. ps, the wife got over being mad at me for buying it lol
