You got that right Wave. I had about 15gal of fuel in the tank when I attempted to open the drain plug after shutting the petcock. Bink!! off it snapped.
Gas flooded the floorboard of the truck interior and started pouring out over the door sill onto the running board, etc.
I eas under the truck swapping out plastic containers to catch the fuel pouring out the hole.
10 gallons ended up in buckets and whatnot. Five gallons disappeared into the floor mat, garage floor, wicked up by the sole plate of the wall...
What a mess!
