Who did you buy the exhaust manifolds from? There are now different suppliers (who import independently from Taiwan/China manufacturers, I think).
If you decide in the future to go to dual carbs (I am back to one 2-barrel carb on my 261), ask about various linkage parts. Some linkage sets/parts do work OK.
