Great post Dave. You are learning about all this the same as me! I do not have any advice for you on the carb. I just follow the rebuild instructions and hope for the best. The one I rebuilt for this build, I havent tested yet. If you remove the PCV Valve does that fix your vac problems? Very curious about this since that is one of the reasons I am building this test engine.
