i caught that, and it's a good idea. the original question asked was can it be installed without beating it on if the snout isn't taped. and the original "tool" discussed was the kent moore one designed to hammer it on- which also is a good idea. i just said i had good luck with a large brass drift, which i will agree is the 3rd runner up. but if you don't want to tap the snout or buy the kent moore tool, if you can find it, might look good too.
