I looked into buying replacement alligator clips for the leads on mine and the genuine Fluke ones on Amazon were crazy expensive. The same items that were made in China are about a 1/3 of the price of the Fluke brand. But I suspect they may actually be identical as Fluke does source some of their cheaper meters (I bought one for a friend a while back) from China. When mine get bad enough I may just cough up the $15 for the off-brand ones.

If you're smart enough to take it apart, you darn well better be smart enough to put it back together.
