Funny you should say that.
I bought my first Hi Lift jack back in about 1979 to carry in my CJ-7. Used it many times to get unstuck when playing off road.
Got my F-250 stuck this past Sunday and will use it to get it out today. Darn heavy 7.3 diesel sank in a soft spot.
Very handy tool when you need it and I'll see if I can get some pics of it in use today.
And yes, I have used it as a winch, many times.
