Yes. I have the pages on my bench. Again, thank you!

I'm making more checks before I test drive next week. I'm unnerved that a continuity check with a meter shows continuity between 3 of the 4 terminals of the kickdown switch (those for the distributor, the governor, and the KD terminal of the relay but not the one for the solenoid) and also for ground and all 3 terminals of the relay. Removing the fuse from the relay shows continuity at only the distributor terminal of the kickdown switch, the ignition and solenoid terminals on the relay, and ground. The check is the same with the ignition key turned on or off.

This puzzles me. I do not think that I should read continuity between the ignition hot lead and ground. But then I find on page 7-31 of my newly printed repair manual pages that the first check is to "ground the KD terminal of the solenoid relay with a jumper lead. If the solenoid clicks, the relay and solenoid circuits are in operating condition." I make that check, and the solenoid clicks, so what I have could be good.

So I don't know if I am unnecessarily overthinking this or if something is wrong. I'll find out next week.
