Thank you for checking that, Fred. For now I have the OD tie wired in the lockout position and am driving it just as if I still had the straight drive in place. I have a friend who has one on his shelf, but he lives in a different state. I plan to be nearby this coming May, and I will ask if he will allow me to take his side cover off to look at how his reverse pushes back on that rod.

Did you happen to notice what activates that rod when reverse is engaged? I did not have the side cover off my straight drive and my OD version side by side, but I did not see any provision to make the reverse engagement activate, of push back, that rod.
