Good point on the vent windows. I’ve never actually checked the serial numbers to decipher a build date. My registration says it’s a ‘50, so to me, it’s always been a ‘50.
One thing I have noticed is that the door bottoms don’t fit the sheet metal at the cab, and by a lot. I think the doors stick out in the neighborhood of 5/8-3/4”. I didn’t spend a lot of time trying to adjust them, because they were coming off and the cab needs some inpatient surgery anyway. The other possibility is, the doors may be repair replacements from a newer truck.
