Adjusted the valves using a method I’ve never tried before.
Ran down the drivers side 1,3,5,7 and tightened them all ex/in… rotated the engine roughly 90dg and felt for loose pushrods… repeat and rinse several more times. Did a 1/2 turn for preload, make that 3/4 turn. We shall see what happens.
Also dropped the spark plug gap to .35.
Need to put the plugs and wires back in, then it’s time to see if I still have a tick
