I had mine ceramic coated with "chromex" at Performance Coatings in Auburn Wa for $200.
I made the mistake of having them coated before I fit them with the intake. It didn't chip during the grinding. It came of just like it was part of the iron. Even after a couple of years and a few thousand miles, they still look pretty good.
