Tom and Joe- I have an Ellis for a Chevy, but believe it was originally intended for use with propane. Most of the Ellis intakes I have seen have been for bigger trucks: GMC, International, Dodge (Chrysler flathead 6), etc..
What got my attention was when Tom mentioned Gotha. I have seen very little Gotha stuff in my life, and all of that was for '50's V-8's. (Olds, Pontiac, Mopar) If anyone could post more on Gotha speed equipment for early Chev. 6's, I'm all ears! Pics or scans of a Gotha catalog would be great!
