Bob- I wasn't going to mention this, but since you brought it up... About 15-20 years ago, when I was getting into buying/selling/trading the 6-cylinder speed parts and no one else was, I bought many intakes as cheap as $5 ea., ($20 was about right here in the midwest) and the seller's usually thought I was nuts for buying them! If I had only known then what I know now!
Doctasuds- Portland in April is good, or at least it was about 10 years ago when I was out there. Came home with a truckload.
Joe- I have an original 1950 California Bill catalog of Chevrolet Speed Equipment. Shown in the catalog is your tall side cover. It sold for $18.50. What a rip-off! This might be the dumbest question I've ever asked you, but do you want copies of this? 16 page catalog, it also shows other worthless junk like Nicson, Cyclone and Edlebrock intakes, Barker Hi-Lift rocker arms, Scintilla mags, Potvin cams, insert rods etc... You probably have little or no interest in this? LOL
