Before and
After. I did a general cleaning and a light polish of the Edelbrock logo and bars. I removed paint from the articulating assembly and what a pleasant surprise! The PO had aluminum arms made out of stock bar. I also polished up the round bar, looks a lot better w/o the black paint.
There is enough material on the aluminum casting to do a serious polishing but it wouldn't be in character with my truck. Does anyone have knowledge of the polishing process...possibly close up photos?
Also, I intend to use 2 - Carter Webbers and plan on fabbing my own 4 bolt to 2 bolt adapters. Has anyone done this? The adapter that Tom Landon sells @ Stovebolt Engine Co. has extra holes that float in the breeze. I suppose this area could be cut off and ground/filed to look a little better.
Does anyone know where I could find different lengths of those ball and socket arm assemblies that attach to the carb throttles?
