Maybe I should have the shop balance the bottom end and install the crank while they're at it? I could do the rest easily.

The crank is already turned to dead on .010/.010. Is is possible to custom-grind the crank to fit and not worry about bearing crush and line-boring?

Should I have the shop press the crank gear on, or should I do that after the crank is in? How else am I gonna check the cam thrust plate alignment with the gears installed on the crank/cam?
