Chiphead, lots of reports out there that the new style non asbestos rope seals are not to good, but I have no experience those kind.I have used NOS asbestos rpoe seals with excellent results. Oly, you ought to try using an engine stand as it takes an a lot of starch in them sheets to hold up an engine.
