I had heard the same thing about the newer rope seals on a Pontiac BB. Tony, you got any asbestos seals left? I hate hate hate oil leaks on a clutch. BTW, what oil clearance do you guys run on mains/rods??

Whats the procedure for setting the cam/crank gear alignment? My shop manual says to do it with the crank gear off, but my gear will be on when I bolt the crank in.
