Yup, but the front cap doesn't need any sealer.The rope seal will add a lot of drag,so long as you rolled the seal in carefully, cut the ends off clean, no loose strands of the seal material getting into the cap joint you'll be fine. don't forget to lube the seal before you drop in the crank.
