I know what that knocking is!! Time for a new power steering pump! I think the alternator is letting go too. Gonna replace both of them! The little bugs are starting to go away. As they do, the motor is getting quieter and the RPM's are becoming more acceptable. I'm driving it more. At least more further distances and higher speeds. I'm getting more comfortable with this old machine as time goes on! A new speedometer head should be delivered today. That will give me, at least, a ballpark idea of how fast I'm going. Fuel gauge is giving me issues. Sender?? Gotta do some testing. I hope I don't have to drop the tank again! I decided to go electric on the wiper motor. It was the path of least resistance. That should be coming in the mail pretty soon.
