The first time I got rear glass rubber from Classic Parts, the stuff was somewhat hard. When I installed the glass, a lot of the inner lip tore off. I wasn't afraid the glass was going to fall out, so I just left it. This time around, the rubber I bought from Classic seemed to be softer. I laid it in the opening and cut it 1/2" longer than needed. I superglued the two ends together. I also opted for new glass with green tint to match my windshield glass. The glass installed without using any kind of lube. Pretty easy morning. Reattached the rear apron and bumper. Time to unload all the Pergo I put in there to store and make the Burb fit in the shop. I'm also going to wash it and dust out the inside. I have a Sunday microbrewery/car show to go to tomorrow. So I might as well drive it there!
