I personally like weatherpak connectors. They are durable, waterproof, available with oins for a variety of wire gauges, and have TPAs.

Probably overkill for most applications, but they are not super expensive and I have never had one fail.

You can also buy the pieces individually from Waytek or Mouser, but having a kit on hand to just grab and go is pretty handy.
