Yes. 50-51 Chev Truck wiring diagram shows the only thing attached to the + side of the ammeter is the 10 gauge wire from the lug on the stomp starter switch and the 14 gauge wire feeding the horn.
Yes, I see the same. Do the + / - indications on the wiring diagram respond to charge/discharge on the ammeter? The diagram looks kinda backwards to me, but I don’t have the truck in front of me to compare.
