I’m open to suggestions on wiring harnesses and heating people’s experiences. Leaning heavily to doing it myself, but haven’t bought anything.
Quite a bit of extra (but period) stuff on this truck which makes me lean away from the resto harness, and adapting a universal harness sounds like a headache. But I’m here to learn.
Things on my truck which are not necessarily stock per the 51 shop manual wiring diagram :
* 12v conversion with ballast resistor
* spot light
* cab/ chicken lights
* original radio
* heater with fan
* turn signals (park light dual filament, separate fixture in rear)
* horn mounted on firewall with period-type relay.
I intend to keep all that stuff in its current configuration.
