I'd wire it with as few connections as possible. Those are just potential corrosion points. Unless you have definite plans to disassemble the tuck in the future, what reason could there be for pigtails and bullet connectors?

Think about other cars you own. How often do you need to disconnect the wiring on any of them?

Leave a little slack in all your wiring to enable adding connectors later if you ever have to take it apart - to repair crash damage, for example.
