Back to the original question. My recommendation is to go with drop spindles on the front and 3" drop coils on the rear. This is also a good time to go with disc brakes on the front. Gave my 69 this 2.5/3" drop and took it to an alignment shop that does a lot of street rod work. Did it last summer and have no unusual tire wear,plus it corners and drives straight far better than before, in addition to superior stopping. I got the Early Classic Enterprizes kit. If there were a safety issue, I'm sure their insurance company would shut them down.
