Hello all,

I have a 1953 I am working on and going back together with the engine I have found that my water pump is shot.

The engine is a 1955 235. So I purchased a water pump from Chevy's of the 40s which is the short shaft but requires a new fan due to the bolt pattern. (actual replacement is out of stock). I ordered and received a fan for a 1955 235 from Classic Parts today. Unfortunately, the fan blade hits the harmonic balancer... So what are my options?
