Yup, whup em every time drag racing, the 500 triples that is.Very few riders could bring them off the line, you had to drop the clutch at 7000 rpm,spin the rear tire to avoid wild wheelies,which slows ya right down.If the narrow powerband Kawi engine bogged just a bit, the front wheel came up.My old Triumphs were easy to ride off the mark with the wide torque band,clutch pop at 6000 rpm while twisting the throttle wide open,some wheelspin, fan the clutch lever to control the burnout. Piece of cake.
