During the oil crisis in the 70's, there was a guy in Hutchinson, Kansas with a 4WD Blazer with a 350. He had wrapped the fuel line around the upper radiator hose and was getting over 100 mpg due to the pre-heated fuel. The story was all over the news. He also started selling a coiled tube that was inside the hose, claiming that with better heat transfer that the milage was even better. For some reason, he wouldn't let anyone test his Blazer's milage.
