Love the stories, particularly when they involve a golf ball or a fish!
One time this friend took me golfing and ofcourse I hit the ball right into the first water trap. He told me to scratch but no, I got right in and whacked at the water. Before we knew what happened this 9 lb bass was flopping on the side of the little pond. We both jumped it and hid it in one of our golf bags and smuggled it out of the place. Later we heard it was their pet.
Another time my slice was so bad the ball ended so far in the rough that we found this perfect old Corvette that some rich golfer had lost and just left out there. The battery was dead but with a little jump from the golf cart we just drove it right out of there.
