every time someone opens their mouths about oldsmobiles, I cringe.
"Hey, that thing got the original 442 CI motor in it?"
"HOw's the buick running?"
"Nice Chevelle"
"my olds has a 307 and runs 10's in the 1/4 mile!"
"why don't you just pull that olds motor and put in a 350 chevy?"
"you should have bought a caprice, you can get more hop-up parts for it" (in reality, my car has the exact same underpinnings of a caprice...everything interchanges)
"Why don't you sell your car and buy a cutlass?"
And the ever popular "I swapped in a chevy motor because I couldn't find parts to build the Olds motor the way I wanted it."
