I've been reading another Okie thread by Shaffer's1950 and it does seem that there shouldn't be that thing right behind the front bushing. It does look like an Okie. So someone removed the old bushing, shoved an okie in there and then put a new bushing in from of it?
Looks like I need to remove what appears to be an Okie.
This is going to be fun.
