What I am trying to figure out: what is the part behind the sleeve I need to remove? I can’t seem to push the removal tool in far enough for it to grab the other side of the sleeve because there is another “sleeve” there. I am speaking of the kind of threaded looking thing. Once I get the sleeve removed am I supposed to just shove the okie thing in and push that part further back along the tube?
There is a hole on top of the tube a little to the left of the photo that I assume was where the dowel was located?
I have been trying to extract the sleeve and also running into issues with the front of the tube because it is deformed and won’t let the sleeve pass through. The tube is not very bendable which is a good thing I guess, but it is making it difficult to round the outer hole.
I’ll go get some more photos and post them in a few minutes.
