One very important precaution- - - - -DO NOT support the axle housing on jack stands. The way you have it set up at the moment preloads the torque tube with the weight of the truck, and once you try to unbolt the U joint, the torque tube will slam down. Move the jack stands to the frame rails, and let the rear end housing hang free.
