Thanks for all of the advice. Through some research, I am aware of some things you've brought up but there are some things in your comments that I didn't know.
The only other question I have ahead of tackling the project is it seems to me I will need to remove the frame cross member. Do you think that is necessary? I haven't looked at how it is attached or whether it the bolts are old an rusted, etc.
Also, it looks like I need to buy the tool for removing the bushing? I see Chevs of the 40's has it. i guess I should have ordered it with the other parts.
