The removal tool was difficult for me to use it first took the brass insert out of the bushing and that made it more difficult to remove the rest of the bushing I ended up making a thicker inner part of the tool to spread the jaws a little further to grab the rest . There is someone on y tube who welded a pipe and washer with a nut to the old bushing to get it out. Also important is to measure the oakie bushing and compare to the bushing you took out ,the inside of the tube to the bushing size ,the yoke to see if it will fit proper .I had three bushings to look at one was for earlier tube but they all were different in size by a little bit .When you are happy that it will fit you can warm up the tube and put the bushing in the freezer before installing.
