Sounds like your "not really bad but" issues aren't big or serious.
On the rear brake early lock up, did you install a proportioning valve to manage front to rear brake bias (I haven't gone back through the earlier post on your brake upgrade to check)? If you did, but it a set valve (not adjustable), you may need to investigate installing an adjustable proportioning valve so you can manage the brake front/rear engagement.
