Thanks Carl. I've never opened up a PCV to look at the guts. I knew it had a check ball of some sort to prevent a back fire from going into the crankcase. I didn't know the size of the orifice was a limiting factor. Either way, I have remedied the issue and now have the PCV routed into the manifold port behind the carb.
