Do your heads still have the pressed-in rocker arm studs? If so, it would be wise to cross-pin them by drilling 1/8" holes slightly off-center in the stud bosses so they nick the side of the studs about half the diameter of the drill bit, and drive 1/8" roll pins into the holes to keep the studs from pulling out of the heads. That's how we secured the studs in the days before screw-in studs were available. Now I machine the stud bosses down about 1/2" and install heavy duty screw in studs and pushrod guide plates.
