I do not know for sure about taking the pistons out from below. I want to say no because there is something too close, but I could be wrong.
You have to use a ridge reamer but they are pretty cheap. A hone would take forever and you would run the chance of scaring the cylinders or taking too much off. Any auto parts store thats good has them. Good question. I hope someone who knows answers.
