Read the writeup Tim. Its all there. Tapping the balancer while putting pressure on the puller, makes it come right off. Its crazy how smooth that works. Been doing it for years that way. But I am sure I could warp the crank by doing that, so I should stop doing that too?

I dont want to do the wrong thing here, so let me look over the shop manual again, I know what it says chapter and verse, but if using that cheaper puller works better, I can change the text, no worries.
