Did you really push kerosene through a pressure washer? Kerosene takes to long to clean a part to me... Mineral Spirits all the way.
Second, although you show a shop manual, you never refer to it.. even AFTER you sandblast the rockers?!?!?!?! Did you mic the rocker shaft and rocker bushing? The 58+ shop manual I have puts the ID of the rocker arm at .7925-.7935 and a length of .9354... you still in spec? 'Wiggles a bit' is probably not the fit you are looking for.
I applaud your effort, and your motor most likely will start/run after your done... but as a tutorial... I would not recommend your process to anyone. IMHO you're simple sandblasting anything (the interior?!?!?!) and your tolerances are 'it wiggles'.
