Engine is a '60 235 with '54 head. New style rockers, crimped feedtube, no external or internal lines, no special headbolts. Plenty of oil to rockers. No booster fuel pump. No PCV, just a vented oil fill and road draft tube. Shop says the guides, etc are within spec. Manley valves have 15K on them, hardened seats, new springs.
Everything in engine is new. Holley 4bbl 390 carb, clifford water heat intake, fentons, M4F solid lift cam, tubular pushrods. Head shaved .040", block zero decked, new .060" flattop pistons, total seal rings, recon rods, '54 crank cut 10/10, melling oil pump, NOS '60 "solid" pickup, '57 oil pan baffled, petronix conversion, recurved stock dist, bottom end balanced & blueprinted during assembly.
Runs great. Smokes like its got 200K miles on it. :o
