That hits on something I'm seeing:
Blue smoke out of pipes, but no oil fouling on plugs: They look great (at least when I checked them last, I'll recheck and repost). Have positive umbrellas on intakes, o-rings on exhaust. So you think its likely in the cyl head and not a ring problem? The engine has fentons, and its smoking the same out of both sides, 1-3 and 4-6. The pistons were fitted too-tight and an oil pump failure caused a re-build. Total seal rings were used and the cyls honed for about .003 clearance. The cyl finish was very smooth, cross hatched but smooth from shop. Cast badger pistons from patrick's of AZ were barely scuffed by the tight clearance. Compression is good, gas mileage is decent. Castrol 30 wt oil. Everything in head is within spec. Will recheck and repost.
What do I need to look at to determine source of oil consumption?
