Is Tony the only person here who knows how to break in an engine?
Number One, the only thing you need to break in right off the bat is rings. To do this you load the engine to put pressure on rhe rings. This will take no more than 10 minutes if done right. I do it by pulling hard for about five minutes then ease off a little bit for another few minutes.
DO NOT - Run at idle except just long enough to check for leaks - one minute.
DO NOT run at high speed at no load, this will ensure that the rings never seal!
After the initial 10 minutes or so drive it moderately for 5 - 10 miles then drive it normally.
NO(Over 65)high speed driving until at least 100 miles then just do what you want.
Cams do not need to break in and bearings require very little, the moderate driving takes care of this.
I have been breaking in engines in cars, trucks and airplanes for 50+ years and this works every time.
