Do the 20 minute cam break-in. Let cool, change oil and retorque head gaskets. Check for leaks. Examine oil for metal shavings. Cut filter open and look for metal. If its coming apart, metal will show up now.
The cam break-in is on the initial start-up, rev your engine up to and set it on 2500 rpm for 15-20 minutes.
Let it cool, drain and change the oil and filter.
Take note of the drained oil to ensure you don't have metal shavings.
