I will through in a cam and a lifter that was wiped smooth if you need more proof!
It took about 500 miles till the lobe was completely gone! The new cam and lifters with GM oil adative and Rotella for the break in, has over 8000 miles now and working great.
We now run over the counter oil (10-40)with GM adative in everything old, thanks to all the magazines "hype". Joe
