I’ve had a plan for 9 years to paint my daily driver. Mainly to help preserve it. This was the Summer I planned on getting it done. Well, Summer is over and Fall is upon us in Illinois, and I’ve got some “accent” painting done, like bumpers, light housings, mirror brackets, wheels, dash, etc but not main body. I too think about using it after painting, but that’s what trucks are for. Even a brand new one is more fun after that first scratch.
