Its been a busy season for the truck. Haven't gone a week without hauling something. Did around 100 ton of river rock in early February, 70 cubic yards of mulch and Pete in April, another 40 ton of #53 limestone in June, and trips too numerous to mention for lumber, steel, and all manner of building materials for two separate salvage projects, a barn overhaul, and an all new livestock barn here on our farm that I broke ground on in July.
I am continuing to play with the HEI and timing to get her really dialed in. Seems what she likes best running empty is sub-par when under load and vice versa, but Ill get it eventually. A few photos of the barn build process and some of her loads. The truck has easily clocked 5000 miles this year so far for all of this and aside from tinkering with the timing, runs like a well maintained sewing machine. I couldn't be happier with any other truck out there. Feels good to keep her working like she was born to do.
