OK, sorry. I didn't mean to confuse. Here's what I did:

I ran a lead from the + battery to the center terminal on the dimmer. When I pressed the dimmer switch in the cab it went from Hi beam to Lo beam as it should.

Lights worked on both Hi and Lo.

Can't really tell in the photos above but the first pic is Lo and second is Hi.
